What polishes/process did u use.

will get some of mine up over weekend when i have give it the once over.

 

To be honest the car was fairly mint anyway but once under the lights I discovered a fair few swirls and there was polish res stuck in everywhere!

Started with the old dual action and a bit of poorboys ssr 2.5. After that it's got a good going over with the new 3M rotary (Christmas present) and ultrafina polish and matching pad. Then applied some meguires carnuba which I've had lying around for ages n Thort I'd try it, once that was done she got some dodo juice hard candy applied. All in all it's worked out well. Not finished yet tho! More to come!

Cheers ram, the storage space is ideal, the lads all come round thru the summer months cleaning their cars n that, tunes blasting, good Craic wiv the lads and drinking whilst workin on em...perfect!!

would look extra nice with all the black plastic parts like

door handles
scuttle
rear window bits
etc etc

all painted high gloss black

even so perfect looking saff that mate

looks really nice that mate.. wish i could polish mine like that i get fed up after ten minutes.. think i should go for darker wheels too as mine get filthy after one mile..

 

ahhh BIG ORDs old car, thats stunning that mate, always had a soft spot for that car. I remember a few years back me and me pal were in a 5 turbo and tried to keep up with it, it blew us off the road! haha

no mate mine was in performance ford a couple of years back, and they did a small retro feature last month in the back

 

Looks like a lotta works gone into that.

 

It has mate had it 16 years now ,resto thread on it in the resto room

 

i'll have to have a look at that one mate, sounds like a good read. Ive just sold my other saff tonite to one of me mates, he's just came round with it there, he said he cant behave himself in it! ha
