Default mk6 fez window b/pillar trim ?

The b-pillar trims, externally on my sisters mk6 fez (2 dr if it makes any difference) keep basicly unclipping themselves - the bottom mostly, it seems to just unclip and then flap about in the wind, which is really fucking annoying !

Is there any way to stop them doing this other than bonding them on ?

Very common fault! Kept happening on my wife's old fiesta, we lost 2 in a year!

I tried sticking them down but it never worked. Bought a new trim from Ford after one was lost on the motorway and that stuck fine. It was quite cheap too.

It's only the drivers side that's causing a problem. I'll tell her to buy a new one - do you get the clips with it or are they extra ?

Yes they come with the white clips already glued to the trim, I should imagine it's the glue that has come unstuck on hers!

the top of one of our 08 plate focus doesn't sit back properly, clip it back and in 2 hours its the same.

I had the same issue, just had some new ones ordered with clips. Is there a good/better way to remove the clips from the car of the broken trim?

Either pop them out with a screwdriver or pull off with a pair of pliers.

use tiger seal or similar, this will secure them properly.
