but it is a pointless post, why post it??? don't see the need for it, its a blatent insult to secs, who I have NO connection with whatsoever, and I.M.O is a cheap point-scoring exercise after it has all been sorted out for no reason at all
what a waste of space, well I suppose the pics are funny

bearing in mind the SECS reading is only as good as the signal from the Inlet Air Temp sensor, AND the quality of the wiring installation
Phil, Thanks once again for the negative publicity
RE: SECS Monitor
Weber sensors are mass produced and are not that accurate and they do not need
to be to run a car. (+/- 7 degrees worst case)
This is a combination of the sensor it self, the age of the sensor and the wiring.
It is a fact of digital measurement, 99% of the time, any 2 devices will always
read differently (Even identical ones)
This can be down to any one or a combination of the following....
1) manufacturing tolerances
2) sensor location
3) sensor heat soak into its mounting point
4) reference voltage drift
5) wiring resistance
6) connectors resistance
7) ambient temperature of electronics
8) relative humidity of electronics
9) Sensor averaging and update rate of software
Plus many more that I wont go it to.
It is a fact of any sensor measuring enviroment that accuracy is only as good as
it needs to be to get the job done and at the right price.
