There are some tricks used to make sure the air flow is even between all cylinders. All parts are not visible in pictures. Will it work or not will be seen...
Polishing of that inlet would be quite easy altough we have agreed not to polish anything before the 300 bhp mark.

If you would polish it, you would gain an instant extra 30bhp for sure

fookin mint mate. what turbo is that?

i like the idea of having the turbo situated over the gearbox and the exhaust then going down the back betwen the engine and bulkhead, but nice job anyway

The turbo is "only" a T34 with RST style .63 ex housing. The external wastegate is used because it allows the turbo to be located without thinkig about the wastegate actuator position etc. Also in the future I have a wider selection of turbos as I don't need the integral wastegate.

The location of turbo was selected because a I'm using a remote oil filter and the around the gearbox is a little bit tight now.

In place of the original filter there is a blanking block with two hose connections. These hoses run to the remote filter bracket seen on the picture. Between the remote block and the filter there is a thermostat controlled take off for the oil cooler core itself. All this trouble because it's a Zetec block and there is not enough room for the oil cooler take off on the original filter location.
