Anyone know who owns a WRC kitted white Escort Cossie in the Macc area? Saw it hammering through the Bollington village last night. Looked tidy

I ask because I've only seen like 2 cossie's of any kind in 6 months of living there

 

It could belong to ears motorsport in macc they have a white escos rally car?

 

Was it on a q plate?

Guy not far from me has 1 in white about 350 ish apparently full cage ect.....

 

Not sure, it was on a blind corner when it came flying round in the dark. Pretty loud, but judging when he floored it, didn't seem more than a stage 3. Still pretty cool though.

 

 

ive seen that in the pub carpark at the lights where you turn right for bollington,see a crystal saff in adlington a few times,and a mallard escos near tesco twice.

The White Escos is my m8 john's which is an early group A rally car with WRC wings & rear spoiler running full 2wd sapp cos running gear (rear drive) running about 330-350bhp quaife diff (standard 1 blew after 10mins after getting it home)
Mine is the G66 2wd Magenta sapp on my profile & and i,ve got a white 4x4 sapp H7

The Mallard Escos is my m8 james from macc that i am fully restoring as we speak who has also got another toy

The crystal blue sapp is lad who works in adlington

Where abouts is the white Escort, wouldn't mind having a good look over it and a silly question, but is it road legal?

Does he have room in his garage to keep mine?

 

The white escort is just near me in hazel grove & yes it is road legal (only just ha)

Where in bollington are you i,ve knocked about in macc & bollington for about 15 years as poynton is my home town ?

 

I love seeing cossies on the road. I always shout cossie no matter where i am lol.

there's a flint grey 4x4 saff knocking about macc though not very oftena nd there's a couple of the other grey(forget its name, sme as ERST) that was only on F plate saffs......

there's also i clean red S2 ERST knocking about too, drives past my shop most days.....
there's also few oher things tucked away hre and there round here too

 

i wouldn't want it broadcasting where i leave my car or where someone you know leaves it or works and it may be outside.

That saff of dans wasnt a real cossy was reshelled into a red shell then sprayed wasnt it?

A mate from preston came to look at it said it was a reshell and it was also had a 3door engine in it and was running an rst dump valve,was a nice car went well but wasnt worth top money!

 

The mallard wasn't really tatty just a 16 year old daily driver used wind rain & snow

 

It was real when HPI'd
It had the right 2wd sapphire engine which is the same as a 3 door but dans was running dark greens. T34. RS500 cooler.etc 350horse & Quaife 7.5" diff

Fair enough but dan said it was reshelled into a non cozzy shell it was a 2wd in a 4x4 shell.......

it was definatly a 2wd sapp shell as a 4x4 shell is different. My other m8 built the whole car from a fucked 2wd sapp cossie into a mint new shell

 

So when am I ever gonna see these cars on the road? Only one excuse is worthy enough, if they don't have engine's in the front end to power them

 

well i'll be in macc tomorrow morning, i will be in the van though not the cossie, off to EARS for a new set of tyres.
dont come out that way very often in the cossie, should do really as theres some good roads and its only half an hour up the road.

 

Mine should be back on the road very very soon, so give us a shout next time you're about

Yeah mate, lived in Macc for about 6 months now but the car is back home in Wales. Will bring it over full time if I can ever find a decent enough garage to keep it in....any info about any around here??

I'm stuck on that one myself tbh, mine is just parked on the drive with a security post thing behind it. Will have a workshop soon but i wouldnt want to leave a nice car there all the time.

as for the other 3. the white escort wrc.my white 4x4 & b5 jam. we will be at oulton park next saturday 29th if you fancy coming up only 30-40 from macc

My Auntie's got an L reg saph but you've got more chance of finding rocking horse shit than seeing it on the road. It did 200 miles between its last mot's. There's a couple who live a few miles from me who own a pair of cossies. she's got a white saph with rondells . and he's got an escos but thats not been on the road for years. another lad has a mallard green escos with supper t's he's owned it at least 15 years

 

your not wrong about councils spending (or lack of) money on the roads round here

I remember a couple of years back sat at Tesco roundabout in Macc in me old chaps car, there was a white three door came from the right onto the roundabout and took the first exit up towards the top one, don't know if he saw me point at it, but gave it a back end wiggle non-the-less .
