I have a 1995 ford fiesta 1. it is the one with the single injector and before i went to college i started it and it ran fine i went inside cam out about 20 mins later and it wouldnt start. it would turn over fine all the dash lights came out so i thought it may be something to do with the fuel line and it has no fuel running to the injector ive tryed turning it over with the fuel line disconnected and still no fuel coming through the pipe i have tried: trip switch, fuse, unplugging the map sens. i no its not the electronics because when i drop fuel down the intake it fires ????? any think its anything but the fuel pump lllooolll :s

 

When you turn the ignition on, do you hear the fuel pump prime for a second or two?

If not then check for voltage at the pump.

 

+1, I would of checked the fuel pump by now too!
