yes iam you need to find out where your nearest training / assessment centre is, then you will need to get your cn1 about 2 days then you can get some elements so you can work on central heating cen1, cookers ckr1, heaters htr1, water heater wat1, meters met all them are 1 day assessments but you might need some training first ????? phone 0870 401 2200 for gorgi general enquiries and they will be able to tell you all, hope this helps

As Dunc has said

Oh, and it is a HARD course TBH

But worth it as ALOT of Plumbers are now not re-doing there Gas as its too hard/expensive.

Which is good for the likes of Me and Dunc as our prices can go up a little

£2500 it doesnt stop there mate then you have £180 a year for corgi membership, then after 5 years you have to do it all again !!! also public liability about 1k, unvented, offtec for oil the list goes on, i have been plumbing for 20 years and in that time the money i have to pay out each year before i can evern start to earn it back is loads and it gets worse each year, thats why the hourly rate for a fully quallified plumber/ heating enginer is what it is.

the prices for plumbers/builders/electricians is ridiculous, and as for the layouts each year , your no where near the costs of what it is to become / keep upto date as a fully trained technician for a dealership, yet we get payed fook all

the job as plumbers isnt exactly a hard job either , i wished id done it when i left school ( school fault - wank careers advice). so i chose the hardest job inline with fookin brain surgerey that pays the least

not all plumbing is easy mate and people that think it is have no real idea, you need to come with me for a week and see what you think after that, look at most builders and the like that have done it for 20 /30 + years most of them suffer one way or another

aint the whole priciple of plumbing easyn though, water pipe not working , look for stop cock, is there water there then look for the wet patch and theres the leak, gas leak give a smell when theres a issue and if the boiler dont work start it with a match

when long john silver fitted my boiler the fooker never even noticed the gas supply was comming thorugh at too higher a rate and causing the boiler to shut down

i tried everything to get him backj and at one point was gonna take his horse as hostage, but trigger leged it home

no means to offend but im sure that after ya get the training ect and have a bit of experinece then plumbing does get slightly easier, its more experience aint it

ok not that easy but ya get what i mean

its the fault finding thats the hard part i always thought ( again though the water and the smell of gas is a help )

i thinm the bigest theives are soliciters and funeral directors !!!!!

there prices are fooking unreal and the soliciters then charge you for there time to look for similer cases , bit like you tiff reading abook on how that type of boiler works in ya own time and charging by the hour
then charging 30 quid to write a invoice THEN charging you even more to send a barrister to court and then cthe barister charging you 250 quid a day and theres no garantee you actually win the case but they get payed either way

whats there charges per hours, my solicitor charged me 125 quid per hour !!!!!
3500 quid loand for fook all and they never even represented me in court the final time as i ran out of money

3500 quid in a month they got for nothing

not gonna start on the funeral charges as thats a tricky subject, its a rip off though

or old peoples homes, ya gotta sell ya parents place that they bought for them to go into a home, mmmmmmm but if they never had one then they would get in FOC

im very bitter can ya tell
