focus head light question

focus head light question
Just put some smoked head lights in the frs,just wondering if you can take the motors out of the clear light and out them in the smoked?

take it you just take the motor out and the wiring plug etc?

Yes that's right, they untwist and pull out, don't break the ball off the end though!

Took me an hour to figure out how to remove those headlight motors haha. All good now in new pair mk1 lights.

how does the wiring block actually come out? is it just clipped in

Yea, it's just the clip in type. It looks like the fan header plug off a pc mainboard.

no i meant the main wiring connector in the headlight? as the motor wire runs from that (if you know what i mean)

That just unclips, there are 2 tabs on each side that press in and then wiggle it out.
