Can flat spots on the rim be taken out easily enough?
Spotted a ding on the inside edge of one of the wheels on my cabby. Its about 3 1/2 inches long seems to only be on the lip of the rim.

 

Mostly, so long as not a sharp ding, these tend to crack open, but can be welded, but might it be cheaper to get another wheel ?
Usually the rim is heated with a torch then hit with a hammer, or pressed in a proper wheel die if done at wheel place, not cheap though.

There's a place up my way mate...he straightens them on a proper machine for 50quid a piece....assuming they don't need welding of course
