I work on ford, vauxhall, peugot and merc vans and i can safely say the vauxhall vans are the worse. Common faults are the springs in the drums snap causing the brakes to fall apart and the pedal goes to the floor. The gear linkages wear all the time and the rod falls off so the van has no gears. The shafts in the gearboxes come through the bellhousings. Front wiper motors wont park properly on the windscreen. The timing chains on the 1.3cdti engines snap. The coolent pipes always split. Radiators always leak from the corners. Shockers always leak. Front coil springs snap bottom arm bushes split. Osf door hinges come away from the A post. Thats just a few examples.
