Started out as a 1:24 ERTL estate car, but when I started working on it, it had a horribly painted bonnet and horribly painted wheels.
I'm not sure what else to say really, i'll just let the pictures do the talking...
As it looked when I started :

Engine stripped down (will be getting painted) :

Empty engine bay - may have to add some 'one off' components in here... :

Inner wings and arches will be getting repainted :

And some MUCH better replacements, courtesy of ebay, from a 1:18 Norev Capri - with a set of low profile 1:24 scale tyres :

With plenty of camber!

I was getting some wacky ideas from these two...


so I did a (very) quick crappy mock up on ms paint....and i'm not sure whether to go ahead with it or not.... your ideas?

and finally, a sneaky peak of another project i'm currently working on ...


...looks good so far i think, but i snapped one of the capri pepperpots
has anyone got a spare i could buy off them?

I love it fella.Ive got one of those recovery trucks in my attic.Mine is from snap on.Ive got 3 other recovery trucks too,they are all different.
