306 d 97 plate,did a cam belt kit and water pump on it today,course the belt was running off the pulleys,anyway got it all done turned the engine over by hand and guess what the damn belt is still running off the diesel pump grrrrr not happy,

i just cant see what wrong everything looks good all new tensioners water pump etc

its got me lol

 

is there an auto tensioner on one of the other pullys that could be fecked? like on ford zetecs, to change the belt, you put a 13mm spanner on the idler and push down and it releases the belt?

 

yea there was but thats been changed,it looks like its starting to come of the diesel pump pulley first,im going to see what i can do today
