West of Scotland RSOC will be holding their 2011 Regional Day at KAMES MOTORSPORT CIRCUIT in MUIRKIRK AYRSHIRE KA18 3QQ

We will have a static show for visiting car clubs , and upto 20 cars on the challenging scottish sprint car championship venue

Everyone welcome to come and enjoy the day, with onsite catering available at the club house cafeteria, with good vantage points around almost the full circuit

Regional Day:-TRACK






There will be 20 spaces available on the track for the regional day , which is already filling up very quick , if you want a space PM me .

Cars will go out on track one at a time and do 3 flying laps of the tricky circuit, before exiting at the bottom paddock and going round to queue again, continue this to get as much track time as you can or want

track will start at 09:00hrs until 12:30 and stop for lunch, track will resume again at 13:30 until 16:00hrs

Passengers are permitted and will cost £5 for the day, please note the armbands are not transferable

PLEASE NOTE, THAT HELMETS MUST BE WORN AND THEY WILL NOT BE SUPPLIED BY WOSRSOC

Camping Details


There is a camping at this event too .

A 5 min walk takes you to the town where there is also some pubs and a resteraunt,chip shops and kebab shops and off licences!!!

for show n shine you just turn up on the day and you,ll get asked on the gate if you want a form , just fill it in and return it to the signing on and thats you registered

Weather update-its to be a scorcher folks......

Spent aw afternoon polishin the sierra so if it's no rainin in the mornin al bring it up if no al just bring ma blue yin up lol

Was a good day was worth the run for it

 

wasnt too cold,met some new folk,made some money and seen some fords on track.good day in my book.i have a few pics ill upload once i empty my truck.

 

yeah it was a good day,done a lot of track sessions,car went well and no issues.

 

Loved it!

And even took the 1100 Fiesta MK1 out for 18 laps!!! Best time being a 1:40.32 which I was pretty pleased with!

Yeah buddy a was well lucky to get it so cheap thank u very much the colour of it ain't far off the colour of my car tbh. The sleeper look is defo abit different tbh but it's all worth it ae. Did u hav a good trip home buddy?

 

yeah,was shattered and had a sore head,think i was getting all the fumes from being so near the track.
the cars on track were going very well,esp the fiestas.only had 1 scary moment when the chevette skidded into the gravel on his last lap!
