Default Sierra suspension probs

Ok, this may get complicated but bare with me.
I want to use my 909 coilovers on the front of my mk1 track car. They are 4x4 fitment. Now i had it on good authority (dojj ) that granada cossie hubs would do the job if i swapped in my 2wd 4 stud stub axles, but having done the swap, they are not compatible. Could it be that because my car is a very early 1982 car, the 4 stud stub axles and bearings are smaller than later ones?
So the question is, if i use 4x4 hubs with the correct tca, will the setup work with my 2wd crossmember and arb, if not, what do i need to do?
Basically i am pulling my hair out with this as i'm waiting to get brackets made up for my ap's.

What are you asking ?
Can you use a 4wd Casing in a 2wd hub , NO , you can sleeve down a 4wd hub for a 2wd Case to go the other way but not they way youre doing it .
just get 4wd Hubs and use a Dummy flange in the bearing or at worst an outer C.V .

I have 4x4 fitment bilsteins.
I want to fit them to my 2wd car.
I was told that my 2wd stub axles would fit into granada cos hubs to allow me to do so.
They dont.
The 2wd stub axles i have are very early base model items and are much smaller diameter than the granada ones.
If i get some 4x4 hubs with the cv still attached, and 4x4 tca's, will they fit my 2wd cross member, and would i need a 4x4 arb to suit?
It sounds daft, but i binned my 4x4 setup off the previous car, and now it seems i'm gonna have to buy it again!

youve answered all your own questions there , bin off the hubs and get the right ones for your dampers or change your dampers and then still get the right hubs .
your TCA's /anti roll bar will fit all of the hubs as long as theyre a pinch bolt type .

A 4X4 ARB with 2WD TCA's and hubs will stick your front wheels through the front bumper, seen it done.
