Default Sapphire 2wd fuel tank

My car is currently sat in a garage and I need to source a fuel tank urgently any idea as to where I can get one and what do I need to look for when buying one. Ford quoted me Ł380 for one this morning which is just a tad bit expensive I think.

Thanks for any help

There's some new ones on eBay if you don't mind a non genuine one. Delivered for less than Ł100

I'm quite happy with one that's not leaking at the moment so not too bothered at all about it not being genuine

I've honestly just given mine to the scrapman this morning doing his rounds with a radiator

I was so sick of looking at it in the garage........

I bought a new one for Ł65 then paid Ł30 powder coated, looks mint

Be very careful about powder coating any tanks, most have plastic swirl pots inside.
The oe ford tanks are well worth the money, IF they are the same as the original tanks, which I doubt as the swirl pot was good.
The best ones other wise have MADE IN CANADA stamped on them.
