Default Fao peeps who've broken their cossie!

How long did it take you to shift the bulk of the bits??

Worth the hassle? Seems to be, on paper.

Just mulling over a few ideas.

Damn you Lewis

Erm, no

Thinking about another R1 or maybe a GSXR1000

I miss 120mph wheelies, police chases and generally acting like a hooligan every Sunday

Lee i have sold a lot of the crqap u get left wiht!(thanx dan)

I have made exactl Ł610! (whihc is good cause it means i aint beer'd up as much as i thought)

I should make about 4k from the runnin gear i got! then the wheels & then the interior!

I would of made over the 5k i spent on the car! & remeber my shell was mullered as was front & rear bumpers bonnet lgihts, rad, cooler etc.! so there another good Ł500 - 700 in bits

so if i would of just broke my car whole like u can then i would of made somewhere around 1k profit! damn it!

Thing is now what do I go for!? if i dont get a bike then Im probably goin jappy!

It's not broken.

But I've just added up a quick list of what I'd get for the bits and being sensible with my prices has still added up to Ł8810

I love the cossie, but I loved my bike too. The cossie can't quite match the adrenalin rush of a bike.

Tis just an idea though

Not so appealing to break a three door imo.

The benefit of a saphs are they are relatively cheap to buy as a whole but there's nothing on yours that ain't on the saph with the exception of the rare bodykit/interior pieces.

I was suprised at the total aswell but I don't think I've been too optimistic with prices and I've got a hell of alot of crap on mine I've bought over the last two years and I've included things like my spare diff, 3 strut braces and all the other crap in my garage
Engines been freshly rebuilt & balanced too (with new block)

Swings and roundabouts mate from my experience!

Some bits make good money others dont (my 500 cooler went for Ł330 when I expected at least Ł350 for example)

Also there is a huge number of parts going at the moment and spares day is coming up soon I think as well.

You shouldn't lose out from doing it, but it is a lot of work and a huge amount of time! When I broke mine I spent all day at work answering emails/PMs etc and got nothing done at all

All said and done I think I made a small profit on my Saph despite a lot of the engine being scrap, and I still have loads of crap left (need to have a clearout!)
