Hi All,

I've had one of these (Clarion SRW8000) for a few years now but have never actually got round to fitting it ! It's going in the back of my Escort van but what I don't know it how big or what capacity I need to make the box for it to go in ? Fecking huge I should think but how can I find out exactly ? I've looked on the net briefly but cannot seem to find anything that seems reliable !

Also, anyone know the best sort of sound proofing or insulation to use as I dont want it to shake my van to bits !

I presume this is for SPL purposes rather than SQ?

 

For soundproofing, i can highly recommend Dynamat. its the dogs danglies!!
