hi iv got a mk4 escort van currently in process of fitting new engine was just toying with the idea of mounting a engine in her transvers my mates got a sieara for sale would of love to buy it to keep but not got the room or funds for another project. i was thinking correct me if im wrong but would i only have to use the front half of the sieara floor pan as the rear of the van has loads of room also would it be possible to use a capri rear axle as the van shares the same leaver spring setup. would then just be a case of engine mounts and propshaft.

ill have to speak to phill see how much he will want to giv us a lift moving it i dont need to whole floor pan just the tunnle and engine bulkhead bit i think i would want it scapped same day tho if i was to get it
