any head work or cams?

my 2.0l had gsxr 750cc t/b's, cams, and a focus st170 4-2-1 manifold, decat, cossie injectors and i doubt that was any more than 180bhp

Sounds about right. FFOC member got 198bhp I think it was on Jenvey bodies, OMEX, high comp fully rebuilt bottom end. I take it your friend will obviously be thinking of at least a decent exhaust system at the very least to complement the ITBs. Cams and mild headwork would be of great benefit too.

mtech say with cams and their omex throttle body kit with v4 management (prob zorst aswell, can't remember but imho must be) will do 190+ bhp

without cams i'd recon 170-175bhp but would need full zorst system including 4-2-1 or 4-1 manifold.

Not alot of point in the ITB's if he's not at least got cams for it. Apart from the fact they sound awesome!

definately not. to hit 200+ it will definately need cams and head work to go along with the zorst and itb's. bottom end can stay standard though.
