Has anyone upholstered doorcars?

On mine the leather starts to peel of and shrink.

Thinking about to put them to a specialist and re-wrap them.

Any pics of re-wraped ones?

hes had his dash done and centre console, but the car also has full leather and a roll cage

mines the same ive had everything flocked but no cage

 

Have you tried the heat gun (Heißluftföhn) and spray glue treatment? Worked OK-ish for me.

 

as rich has said i ave full leather n all the trimmings but my cars also caged up,

havent got any great photos to hand but you get the idea

 

Love the flocking mate.Did it cost a small fortune then?

taking pictured of flocked stuff with camera flash is pointless as you can tell by my pics lol

they look so much better in the flesh

 

in the grand scale of things no!!! you will have to speak to raj for exact prices but im sure the whole dash comes to bout Ł140!! worth every penny in my opinion you would not belive how much it transforms a 80's interior!!

as for the door cards bout Ł80 for 2, n with leather door cards getting so expensive for a mint set its just another worth while option

The flocked/carbon mix looks really great, but dont know if those work with a standard interior?!?

Did also the heatgun on them old doorcards, but the leather was shrunk too much.


I think I will go the rewraped leather route like NickSt ones, or maybe suede.
