Default Spark blow out, will a GROUP A Coil help

I've just removed the wasted spark conversion from my cossie managed rst engined cabrio,

I'm now experiancing what I think could be spark blow out, if I accelerate hard it starts boosting then repeatedly pops and coughs (while still gaining speed)

Under gentle acceleration it will only do it occasionally. It never happened on wasted spark, but due to issues we've had to remove the set up.

Now the car is back on a standard distributor setup, I'm wondering would a GROUP A coil be of any benefit for me.

I know people also make the plug gaps smaller when the boost levels are higher than standard.

The cars going to oddkidd creations for final tune/set up next week, but I want to sort as many issues as possible before departing on the long drive it is to essex.

I'd certainly get a better coil than std, like the group a one, it will certainly help.
