Hi chaps as above can coil on plug be used with cosworth management?

not as standard, you need to have a driver (wasted spark is commonly available) installed into your ecu.

hi mate cheers for that, i should have stated i will have a pectel board and wasted spark driver in the ecu, but really just want to know if you can use the coil on plug and how would you wire them up?

With 2 ignition outputs provided by the wasted spark driver you could use COP but they would only work when used in wasted spark configuration i.e. coils 1 + 4 would fire at the same time, as would 2 + 3. You would use a 4 channel ignition module like the Bosch 0227 100 211 and wire it up like this:

However I couldn't confirm 100% if that module will work with a weber ecu, as when i tried the 2 channel version with my old wasted spark setup on my old L8 with wasted spark driver it didn't work, same setup on my Autronic SM4 and it worked startight away!

You ,must have wired it up wrong then...

I suspect you didnt earth pin 24 on the ECU ...

I think you'll find I did try that along with a few other things YOU advised me on at the time Simon I only recently deleted the PM's from you as well
