Fiesta Heater problem
Yes you have multiple problems by the sounds of it, the first problem is very common and will need the 'Resistor Pack' replacing to resolve it. It should however still work on position 4 but as it's blowing a fuse I would suspect the motor is siezed or you have a short somewhere more likely the former as water can get in through pollen filter, could be freed you need to get access to it first then try freeing and lubeing to get it moving!

Sounds to me like the heater resistor pack on the car. When you take it off to investigate look for slight cracks in the wiring, if you see this then replace the heater resistor. You can obtain this cheaply from your local breakers yard.
Thanks to all for replying. It would seem to have been the pollen filter being blocked as when looked at by local garage this is all they have cleaned/replaced (+ fuse of course) All settings now work well apart from a noise (flutter ?) on setting 2. With the fan working now I can live with that !!
