Had a ECU for sale and a fellow member said he needed a new ecu as he had problem with a pin on his ecu had corroded/melted.
so he said if he paid me £5 extra to 24hr delivery it which i done even tho it cost me £15 extra but i swallowed it.
I tested this ecu on my other car before i sent it and it was all ok.
Bloke sent me a message/pic this morning saying the board on 1 pin is melted/corroded.
the pin which he mentioned is a power pin and was loose so wouldnt work.
Now im all for refunding goods if needed but imo i think he used his ecu board and put it in my casing saying its faulty. i feel robbed funny how my ecu suddenly has the same thing as his ecu?
this was this morning and hes already put a complaint in to MarkyD or whoether on here.
its all too sus and setup to me.
so now he wants me to take this fucked ecu and give him his money back.?

HI WOOPEEE you live again after ignoring me trying to resolve this matter with no reply from you ,,,If i did do a swap then would my original l1 ecu board even fit in your l6 case or be the same layout?? or work with what ive already got, Please please my friend stop the dodging and excuses , you know full well that the reason ive purchased an l6 was due to an upgrade not due to fault with my car ?? my car has run perfectly well for 25 years on its original ecu and went to MSD for tuning and setting up after much profesional work and it ran perfectly well on their l6 just days and zero miles before i purchased yours that is what the car has just been set up to run on not my original 3 door l1 ,,and that the truth is the ECU you sent me despite me asking the questions to be wary of was blatently faulty/ unsatisfactory now your just dragging it out /trying to shift the blame mate

I've been using this site since first day it started! Dealt with tons of people. There is 2 things I'm sure has happened either:
1 you have swapped boards as that deffo is that melted pin was deffo not there when I checked it the day before as you said you had problems with your pin.
2 you have plugged the ecu into your car and it's melted the pin.
It's weird as you have stated your old ecru suffered with this pin problem?
I tested this ecu the same day I posted it as my car was in the unit at the time.
Tabetha on here can confirm also that car was drove to the unit with that ecu on my car.
Something is fishy here

Buyer has stated that he doesnt actually own an L6 so wouldnt be able to swap any boards over?
He bought your L6 to replace his faulty L1
He also states that MSD ran their L6 ECU in his car during the cars set-up with no issues.

JUST A NOTE HERE ,,, Quoting last reply
"Buyer has stated that he doesnt actually own an L6 so wouldnt be able to swap any boards over?
He bought your L6 to replace his faulty L1
(my l1 needed to be replaced as it was not capable of ever running my cars current new spec as it had just been modified and then sent for profesional set up)
He also states that MSD ran their L6 ECU in his car during the cars set-up with no issues."
(VERY TRUE)
"buyer stated he bought l6 upon advice of MSD"
AS MY ECU WAS NEVER GOING TO RUN MY NEW CHIP OR THE SET UP THE CAR HAD JUST HAD ,
MY ORIGINAL L1 ECU AS ADVISED BY MSD although working perfect up untill the time of mapping WAS NEVER CABABLE OF RUNNING MY CARS NEW SET UP ,HENCE THE REASON IT WAS SET UP USING THERE L6 LEAVING ME JUST TO RETURN HOME AND BEGIN THE SEARCH FOR A GOOD L6 TO PLUG MY NEW CHIP INTO AND COMPLETE THE SET UP <!-- google_ad_section_end -->
MY CAR NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY ORIGINAl l1 ECU OR ANY ECU IT HAS LATELY BEEN TESTED ON ,AND STILL DOES NOT ,IT SIMPLY NOW NEEDS A GOOD L6 IN ORDER TO RUN THE SPEC IT NOW IS AND THE CHIP I HAVE JUST PURCHASED <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

I appreciate how long you have been a member of this site and your current standing , but im telling you and everybody that reads this that the item you sent me was faulty to the point it never even got near my car or tested due to fear of causing expensive problems i can ill afford, pin 19 on the ecu that i had specifically asked you about showed signs of having been freshly scraped clean ! And it was loose and not conected to the circuit board!!! Why the hell would i make this up ??? ,,and if your car was running like this as it may well have done due to the bluring on the board and 1 &19 being next to each other and doing the same job ,then you sold it at a very convenient/lucky time myfriend

I can confirm that any ecu in roosies unit was fully working, been all over his unit, know all his cars, no duff ecu in sight.
Personally I know for a fact as have driven all his L6 ecu'd cars all were/are perfect.
