Check out my new toys!!!!!!
Picked these bad boys up Sunday from Northampton, but only got em set up today as I wanted to strip em all down and clean and wax the shells before they went up.... These are absolutely STUNNING up close, hella fucking LOUD, and rarer than me buying a round 
They are made from 100% pure maple wood, but have an extra outer ply of Bird's Eye Maple (no, nothing to do with fish fingers ) and then laquer'd with a "champagne" tinted laquer;
Feel sorry for the neighbours tho, these fuckers are nearly twice as loud as the last ones

That room is waiting to be re-decorated but it will be done last as all the crap form the other rooms when they were done has been shoved in there So gotta sort thru it all before that room can be done

Thats not new tho - they (Pearl) only made these for a few years in the late 80's and early 90's (think they strated in 86/87stopped in 92) and were never an official UK line - only one place in the UK imported them into the UK and only very few kits were brought in... I have only ever seen 2 CZX kits in the country in the last 7 or 8 years (one was exactly the same as the one I just bought and the other was only half as many drums)
Todays monder equivilent tho would set you back around £6-8k without and cymbals or stands
