Got one of these at work at the mo except its a 3.2 with 250hp
had a blast in it and its a fantastic allrounder,the brakes fookin almost had me through the screen!! fast through the gears too,very nice car

S3's are good cars Rudey, up to date, fast & look nice.

www.croftmotors.co.uk ???) & i've done a bit of work for him in the past, i was well impressed with the S3's. not a bad choice for a family car either, just because
you have a kid it dosn't mean you have to become a nerd, when Sassy had our first boy everyone said we would have to get a sensible family car!!!
so we listened to them & got a 4x4 saff. (it had 4 doors

now we've got 2 kids & she's got a 3 door
the S3 has to be worth a thought, i nearly got one, i've just had the Fords so long
it was hard to break away.

top one for the replies, reason for the choice ive always noticed they hold thier money kinna seen in the same light as a bimmer on build qualtiy to, and its a modern 4wd turbo the s2 will be weekend car and misus will have a3 tdi for nappy runs and takeaways

gwaaaan brom come tek me out peanut smuggler hunting lapz in that then the 3door just looking at the mo of what id like was stuck on an evo for a while but depreciation is about to hit them hard i think this s an al round safe bet and will hold its val well

My mates got a AudiS3 (the more powerful of the 2 option ones) and its fucking shite, sooo unimpressed by it.
Not exiting at all, shame as it looks smart and has all the bits that youd expect to make a fast car, but its wank.

I had a 225bhp S3 for six weeks before I sold it on (for my RS4) 'cause I hated it.
The front seats don't fold foward enough (unlike the cloth seats) for people to get into the back easily, the front screen takes ages to demist, and off boost performance is piss poor - no power at all, and the six speed box is a pain in the arse. Don't buy one - my mate bought a 150bhp A3 FWD with the five speed box - much nicer, fun to drive, and not slow either
