the time has come to take the cossie off the road for the winter, and i was going to change all the cllipers and discs as the old ones are pretty much shagged
anyone got any feedback on which they think are the best combo?
i am running comp cxn 17inch wheels, which i know wont fit 6 pots behind, so really want something which can just be bolted straight on with no mods.
car is running 350bhp, so dont think i need to go the 6 pot route, but what do you guys think? thanks in advance....

I'd be very surprised if you couldn't get 330mm with 6 pots behind the CXN's, if you wanted them, I'm going tarox B 32-6, 6 pots with 17", and 228mm discs.
Some routes other than the overpriced imo AP's are the FRS mk1 set up with 325mm discs and the brembo's that come with them, or even the 325mm discs with a bracket kit to fit your standard calipers to keep costs down, although heavy the std calipers on 2wd are very good, used with EBC Yellowstuff pads would be awsome even from cold, they are MUCH better from cold than Ferodo DS2500, and have much better feel, well just having feel is an improvement on the ds's!!
There are many other options, but need to consider how you drive, if like a old granny std everything would be fine for example.
Just add some decent braided lines and fluid for best effect along with at least grooved discs.

You have the new style CXN if it's Carlo's old car you have - you can get 330 behind with 4 pots no issues (i doubt 6 pots will go on) - with my old style CXN you have to space out the wheel to fit 4 pots.

yes, its carlos old car with the new style cxn's. i would have preffered the old style, but hey ho.
guess the hunt is on for some ap 4 pots then, and 330 discs.
For a fraction of AP prices you could get a COMPBRAKE kit:
4 pot (Brembo) Compbrake caliper
Disk size to suit 335 or 320mm
I had the 335mm kit (very very good), but have since reduced to a 320mm disk to fit under my 16" track wheels. Stunning kit.
