Ive owned my Mk2 Escort Harrier for just over the year now and its having a lot of fabrication work being done and ive shot blasted the whole shell so its bare metal.
its having the YB Turbo fitted and all 6 linked etc etc.
what colour should i have it.
something tells me to keep it silver but i like weird colours.
here is pics before it went in to get work done

During work

And slow progress at min but every panel is brand new thats getting used ie front wings/inner wings/tunnels/all new floor pans. so hopefully it will be a new car when finished.

If it was totally original i would say silver but as it is modified go for something different as above matt black would look nice but on the other hand I like the Mk2 in white. mmm. I can see why your asking us now!

It would look kind of cool in that green actually.
However being a Harrier I'd keep it silver and maybe just remove the stripes.
Out of interest who built your axle ?

I need a casing tbh, I have a Gartrac casing but its been narrowed and I need a full width one.
If you could PM me his number I'll give him a shout as I know a few people over that way so don't mind paying him a visit.
Back to colours, I wanted to change mine to a Metallic black, something like Panther black but decided the old Fords generally look best in the colours they left the factory with or in some sort of Livery.
I had considered doing mine like this if I get bored of the solid colour

If you like weird colours and dont want to stray too far from the original silver give the MK1 escort BLUE MINK a go ( same colour as old andy harris's mk1).
A rare colour and still ford themed , adding the harrier stripes in silver , grey , and progressing darker through to an anthracite or metallic black should work well.

Keep it silver mate.
