Get a mk6, but unless you plan on an engine swap, stick with styling to your own taste. Most ST drivers change their car to look different anyways!

the mk6 will be nicer to drive daily so yes, do it mate, get the zs bumpers and spolier and create your own style motor rather than an exact copy, there is a white ST on here somewhere and it looks the bollocks!!

ps, with some of the mk6 zs's being cheap to insure and pretty cheap to buy don't overlook them rather than a look a like, getting the rims, bumpers, spoiler etc for the look a like plus the spraying may not be much different to buy a zs mk6

keep the ks until you can afford a real st. I hate car's that look fast but are slow. Also, once you've declared all the mods, it'll no doubt cost as much to insure as a real one...

Why would you want to make an ST replica?

If you want an ST buy one they are cheap as chips nowadays!

Yea thats all fin and dandy for anyone over 25 lol

im 18 and been driving for just under a year and i phoned my insurance company because i was thinking of getting an ST when i was on the phone they said yes and it will cost £xxxx i thought thats ok so i went and picked one out ready to buy it phoned up the insurance company to get it transfered and they said no so i ended up getting a zetec, and plan to ST it.

my point is ST drivers shun people that make replicas but really in most cases they cant insure the real thing just a shame what all the other idiots on the road to the decent drivers

but back on topic my last car was a ka and i loved it, getting the mk6 was great it drives nicer and is a lot quieter the only thing i dislike is it hasn't got as much character as the ka did.
