hi everyone,

my car will idle fine but when you turn the heaters/lights/engine fan the engine idle drops and the revs go up and down.
so i did some tests with the volt meter.....

12.24 volts engine off
14 volts engine running
13 volts engine running with heater blower, lights and engine fan.

do you think my alternator is dieing ??

sounds normal to me, with everything on like that at idle it will be putting a big load on the alternator, you could always check all connections are clean and tight etc and the belt correctly tensioned just to be safe

those readings look pretty normal to me, the volt meter should read about 14 while the enigine is running at 2000rpm

Perfectly healthy, check your CO, lean mixes will tend to cause the up/down with load at idle as engine making so little power, but alt sounds healthy.
