Thats the first thing that came to my mind, do the rite thing, sign the contract, let all the hype die down, and dont end up looking like a cunt, because with 5 years on his contract, united will get what he is worth, which they wouldnt with year left on his contract.

I'm not back peddling because personally didn't call him that on here, neither did many of the other United fans from what I've seen. I maintained throughout that he's on eof the top 10 forwards in the world and will be hard to replace. Rod etc are some fans, not all United fans.
