had my letters through yesterday......was supposed to be exemp after doing 3 months about 22 years ago but never recieved the exemption letter.

who's done it and how did you get on ...

 

Did it this time last year and actually really enjoyed it, though there was a lot of tedious waiting around. My advice is make friends with people who came the same time as you quickly as possible, it made it much more enjoyable (especially when we'd go to the pub across the road at lunch everyday).

Then offer their family the opportunity to buy from you proof that it was a miscarriage of justice as one of the jurors was a time served criminal.

my missus did a 10 week trial last year, she enjoyed it as it gives them all something to gossip about but fuck me it played havoc with family life.

 

This is something I'd never ever be interested in doing. From what I've heard, if you tell them you can't do it because you're racist, sexist and ageist, you can be exempt.

 

what about if you're just a cunt - plan and simple

 

I don't know if you'd be excused because of that. Being of Welsh decendants, you'd be able to get off it though.
