Default Striped out caged

Anyone drive 1 regular on the road and is it much more noise compared to full trim
or is it just like haveing the back seats down type of noise
getting a bucket seat at the end of the month and
am not sure if its gonna suite full trim then 1 black seat
or not sure stripped & caged for road use is a good look either

They tend to be a little noisier as you hear more echoing through the car, the worst part is trying to get the car warm on a cold day, as theres so many metal surfaces exposed, its hard to heat them all up.

I used my XR3 for a while with half a dash, no carpet, no sound proofing, interior trims and only front seats and is was ok. Had a straight through exhaust pipe, no air filter and no wheel well in the boot floor either

My XR3 is fully stripped, cut and weight removed no door cards etc with cage. It is very noisey, you hear and feel every thing, not ideal for an every day car and unpractical when you want somewhere to put bags and jackets etc, on the floor is just not nice really.

Depends how far you go and how hard your car is setup.

with their cages you have to weld them in by the look of them...

to much work for me i just want a bolt in jobbie then you can always put it back to standard if you want....

i think its msp performance that make them to spec .....

there is places that make up the front to go around the dash so no cutting needed...

the s1 in one of the ford mags this month has it ... its a guy called tom's
who owns it car built by jamsport.

custom jobbies are the only way to do it....

think about me my s1 dash is mint....

im thinking about selling my whole interior including dash and then getting a shitty old ghia dash flocked , saves cutting up a £300 dash lol

I guess trying to have 1 car for 2 purposes isnt ideal
what works on track doesnt on the road and vica versa

To be fair yours is pretty loud. Much louder than the XR3, anyway. If you had a straight cut in the Puma it would be pretty horrific TBF.

so a roll cage will just back that up alittle

rsmark even if you went for a bolt in cage you still need some strengthening plates welding to the floor so it wouldnt be as straight forward as your thinking
