michelin's are a big NO.
kumho & falken are OK
continental gives you only about 15,000 miles if ya lucky.
toyo are fabilous but were out quick
goodyear give a good wear rate and grip
whatever though no BUDGET. do ya self a favour.
just keep on top of the pressures though.
hope this helps ya.

If he likes what he's got, he should stick with them - OE tyres (whatever brand is already on the car when new) will have been chosen by Ford for their suitability for the job (or for the cynical, whoever they have cosied up to in some sponshorship deal!)
Of the random advice above, the only two bits I agree with are tyre pressures (but that's a given surely on any car
For road use, any premium tyre from any of the well known brands will be fine.
Tyres fitted by manufacturers are purely down to the best deal from the different makers on a focus, unless you're talking a proper performance car where they are made/designed over years to suit a certain car, even then it doesn't assure the best for everyone, as each person is different.
My choice would be Hankook Ventus Evo V12 K110, if you get 15,000 from a set of front tyres(on this car) then you've just wasted money on a car whose performance you're not using.
