Default Question about ERST fuel computer.

Hi to all, I got my hands on one beautiful 88a ERST in Estonia and I have a question concerning the fuel computer wiring.

I have the wiring scematics and have tested the signals according to it. The secondary sender unit in fuel tank fails to deliver signal. On the other hand the fuel gauge is working brilliantly.

Does someone have experience in such occasion? Could I use the signal from fuel gauge?

Hi mate,

The signal on the second cable that comes out of the sender is the same as the fuel gauge feed. It's just a split feed.

You can use the gauge signal.

Nice, I'm going to give it a try tomorrow. Hopefully I get it working.

Thanks for the quick answer

Put the computer into "Self test" mode, and see what sensors are doing what...
