Yesterday, we have been on a 1/4 Mile Race in Palm Beach / Florida.

It a race organised by the NSCRA, National Sport Compact Racing Association.

It was an amazing event. It is absolutely incredible, how much power the guys push out of their engines. And: the new trend: rotary engines. The Turbos are neraly as big as the rotary engines, getting 700 or 800 horsepower.

Mostly, the Import cars are represented. Supras, Evos, Imprezas, Skylines, RX7, RX8, Civics, Integras, Infinity, Scion

Some serious looking cars there, drag racing is in another league over your way, there probably aren't that many nicely prepared drag cars in the whole of the uk !
