Default Hart Manifold Question

Just got my new Hart Manifold today, it comes with (which I didn't relise) was o-ringed throttle body and plenum.
It comes with a length of rubber string, do I just push this into the machined indent and bolt it up.
Seems like it will just fall out as I try to bolt it up do I need to use any bond?
Cheers Rich
