my diesel injector pump on my escort van 1.8d is us ive been told of a frend that he will get me one second hand and fit it for me for £120 is that a good price ?

 

Seems fair to me as the pump is run off the bottom pulley and the timing belt also so iirc it involves removing both to get it off,it's not a straightforward job in anycase so thats a good price.

When were the belts last done?if you don't know,nows the time to do them along with the tensioner.

If the £120 includes the cost of the pump rip his arm off, that's a blinding price, as said both belts off, allow around 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

Yeh get him to do it. I dont think they are a nice job to do.

 

They're dead easy to do, just a bit of faffing around that's all.
