as anyone jail breaked an iphone 4?

 

you can do it aslong as the software isnt too new,

go to jailbreakme on your iphone safari and it will load a page if you can do it you just swip the slider and it does it! if it doesnt you need to look into downgrading the software.

 

You can jailbreak all versions even up to 4.1 now

 

I'm an i4 owner what exactly is the jailbreak, all the aps free is that it?

basically yeah and the ability to change your themes, your backgrounds, personal ring tones, just modify it in a way that you prefer!

 

It depends on your geek level. If your a proper geek you can write your own apps for anything.

 

You dont need to jailbreak to be able to have personal ringtones.

u can get a ringtone maker app for 59p............from app stores it works mint.....(ps i've tried limera1n over a dozen times and it dont work (for me).....but jailbreakme did work on 4.0.1

Depends on the baseband and firmware. Why doesnt he buy one from Vodaphone? That would be the sensible thing to do or buy a sim free one from Apple.
