are the cheaper ones any good?

put a deposit on a car today. thought i would do an hpi check for peace of mind?

its a fairly normal standard golf, have seen them from £3 to £25 online

any suggestions people?

 

The 6 quid ebay one will tell you there is finance on a car, but not who to contact to check it out. If you want that info, you will have to pay again, and full price. Cunts. Turned out to be a false flag too

 

thats the thing, if there is a problem hpi are the best as they give out the most info and you are able to ask them about it, the rest of them just give you the info and you dont always get finance ime, saying that if the car is hpi clear then they the cheapest if as good as the most expensive

 

You can find proper hpi's for 5 for 25 quid but you can only register one car for the guarentee.

The text check things are a bit iffy - personal experience, text check says no probs - insurance company told me otherwise.

On £1000 worth of car I aint arsed but its made me wary for the future.

 

So you have all ready left a deposit.........But now want to HPI it?????????????
