on the head it's behind the cam pulley. the arrow on the cam pulley will point to it when the arrow is pointing directly up. on the crank pulley side it's actually on the cam belt cover. this lines up with a small notch on the edge of the crank pulley.

what for cambelt or just the timing.....
if its just timing its easist to take the flash gaurd and cap of and line the centre line on the rotor arm to the little slit on the edge of the dizzy....
and for the cam belt ... i would down load some pics from autodata ... its realy easy to do if you know how but if you dont mate might be worth getting someone who can.... as it aint just a case of tight is best

cheers people much appreiated, might be a while now untill i cum to the timeing as ive cum to bit of a problem.
one of the head bolts has snapped off which i didnt relise untill the other day when was about to start rebuilding and has put things to a holt.
just hopeing its gonna cum out!!
