hi all the mk3 steering wheel moves up and down
also if i pull it out it comes towards me loads
any ideas whats up?
rwckon the bearing under the wheel
wheen i looked where its moving under the dash there was like a shaft secured by 2 13 inch bolts however the spring and what loos like a circular clipis wobbling round not held in place by this sheath
any ideas folks as its killin me to not drive

 

the plastic sleeve that is part the way down the steering column

 

yea theyres one but its not held in by anything
shud it be
and will that cause the steering wheel to be able to be pulled towards me?
