They prob took it further than 6k but the graph only shows that because thats when power began to tail off? Any power run I've had done... they've run the car to the limiter in the selected gear.

Cheers,
Grant

i would have thaught that a modern tuned car would rev to 6500 /7000 rpm not 5500/6000rpm.

Shouldnt the afr be more around the 12 mark rather than 10, sounds rich

As said above its losing power quickly as its swimming in fuel!!!
Infact the afr is not very good anywhere but i assume your on a generic map and not the rolling roads ownmap???
These engines do run a bit rich but you normally see around the mid 13s untill boost and then around the high 11s after wards and on a proper manage ment on a frs mk1 an even better afr...

Personally I wouldn't have that engine any richer than 11.5:1 AFR. I think you need to speak to your mapper.

They all run rich unless they are custom mapped...

No Knock sensor, they are mapped rich for safety me thinks.

What mods does the car have?

I take it that the car has a aftermarket boost controller?

From what i was told they are mapped that rich for safety due to not having a knock sensor fitted. There have been a few FRS owners that have melted pistons and dropped valves over the years so i wonder if that is a result of custom maps that run leaner like say a Cossie engine does?

It's not my car, just genuinely interested in general as most of the FRS graphs i've seen run in to the mid 10's. Not sure if these are all on the various different types of handset 'maps' or not though.
