Default Focus MK1 anti roll bar links/Drop links . .

i've had a search about the forum, but not come up with much luck so thought i'd chuck a post in . . .

im just wondering if anyone knows the lifespan my Droplinks/anti roll bar links should be lasting?? i seem to be needing to change mine almost every year to 18 months at best.

the last time i picked some up i went for the expensive ones, not the bargain ones most motorfactors seem to sell.

its a W Reg 1.6 Focus Zetec that does'nt get too had a life, i use it off road a handfull of times a year when i rally marshal, but thats never abusing the car as most are on decent forestry roads, (most are in better condition AFTER the rally has gone through than my normal street roads are )

sorry if this is a repost

and cheers to any replies in advance

I put an aftermarket set on my first focus a few years back when I first got it as it was a bit noisy and they were knackered again when I sold it about 18 months later, the car did have a hard life though and did about 30k in that time!

I'd try a set of genuine ford ones, I put some on a mate's mondeo a couple of months back and they were only a couple of quid more than the pattern part ones.
