Are these any good? Im looking to change our 2nd car (citroen AX Diesel) for something newer and a tad nicer. My budget is around a grand but most cars at that price seem to be piles of crap these days.
I have been offered a 2003 52 MG ZS 105+ with 67K on the clock for £1350. It has the extras like the 17s, sideskirts and electric pack. It does have the odd ding on it as to be expected of a car for this sort of money.
Im just wondering what they are like to live with? I know they have head gasket issues and that doesnt bother me too much.

to be honest mate two of my pals have had them in the past and both of them basically fell to bits, constantly devolping new knocks and bangs central locking not working ect always taking them back to the garages for repair but it could of just been them two but i wouldnt personally own one now after what ive seen although £1350 is cheap
used to own one of these very good little hatchback drive well and handle well, never really had any probs with mine. i did spend alot on it in the end got it to 192bhp
. also the usual hgf is easily solved by fitting a mls one
