fucking hell, A GTIR with Nos, will go like fuck right up to the point it explodes into a million piece's.

always loved these cars but way to tempermental for me to spank money at.

 

As above always liked these but would never buy one.

 

a friend had one at 300 bhp... spent more time in the garage than on the road... such awesome cars though

not been to bad realey on reliability only the small probs on what u would get with a cossie/rst of that age it had a major refurb 10.000 miles ago rebuilt engine/gearbox new hybrid turbo over Ł10.000 worth of mods i paid Ł2.500 it is a very fast car and picks up speed very fast and does a mid 12 sec 1/4 mile without the nos working propley

 

fingers crossed for you buddy that it'll stay that way, proper little retro cars, so ridiculous that there'll be nothing like that made again which is such a shame imo

 

i had one too lol, engines are good, gearboxes can be a problem though. Mine was 320 bhp @ 1.3 bar boost, was quick through 1st and 2nd, but never felt fast after that, good fun though all the same
