Default Irony....

I've just bought one of the OWL Energy monitors to try and see if we (and by we, I mean the Wife) might be more inclined to turn shit off and save some money.

Anyhow, its wireless and works on the same frequency as some remote control lights we have.

Yes, the energy saving device keeps turning the fooking lights ON

Mate they are bullshit anyway. I bought one and it drove the old gal mad, no matter what she did it was so inaccurate it made f-all difference unless you were in the shower or if you have an electric cooker.

We are talking common sense here, switch shit off when not in use! These owl things make you go anal and the cost of the machine probably outweighs its usefulness (I paid £30 quid and returned it a week later!)

Mega inaccurate as well.

It doesn't seem too bad - I checked it against my clamp meter, and its close enough.

I hadn't really given a thought to my pond and its told me its over 20 quid a month, so fuck the fish lol.

I usually turn it off in the winter, just prompted me to do it.
