Is it possible and who could do it?

Basically have a newish one that came with block etc but with the money i'm about to plough into it i want to be sure - i know new are cheap enough but want this one checking first.

Have to say that for such an important item I always put new in whenever I have a motor stripped mate... so much peace of mind.

 

I have 2 here so no point sitting on the shelf if they work so just want testing

 

The easiest way of testing is in a engine, don't need to run it spin the dizzy/pump shaft, but otherwise would need to make a fixture so you can collect/contain the output from the "D" shaped hole insert the strainer/pick up in oil and spin.
Not sure if my engine place has a pump test rig, doubt it as new ones only £24, but can ask if you want ?
