Can i put a password onto a folder in my film libary????

Lol, i can only imagine what films they are.

I think you can, right click and it should be under properties, or you can make it a hidden folder.

I guess you don't have you own user account, I.E. everyone uses the same user account, you would be better off creating your own admin account and make another user account for kids etc as is best security practice thus they won't be able to see/access your My documents and sub folders.

Only other way is to Zip the folder with a password.

Else you can look at encrypting the folder and setting a password that way, but it might be overkill for just hiding your porn stash

just lock your profile down with a password, then make a new one called kids or general and make it restrictive.

they cannot see your dog porn then.

Hello mate, just had a look you can do it in XP pro (under properties/security/encrypt) but im not sure about other OS's as above using user accounts lets you do this pretty easily.

zip and pass word protect or seperate accounts on machine, or better still whack them on a removalble hard disk and keep hard disk secure
