Hi peeps,

I have a mondeo MK3 2001 and i'm trying to wire the towing electrics in.

Its not a plug and play one as it doesn't check for bulbs out. (plus the simple one was only £12!! I need to know which colours are which on the car electrics as we move house next week and no lights mean no trailer!!!

i've stripped the core cable down but that's as far as i've got. my old car was a lot easier as each wire went to the bulb that it operated.

as far as I can see there are about 12 wires going into the back. 3 of them seem to be earth.

A case of probing with a test light on each one to identify, doesn't take long, even if the side/tail supplies are the opposite way will still work.
